It suggests that the 'GHA Gold' branding is set to spread quickly to other services.

Only thing I'm still not convinced about in the new Enviros are the 'tables ' as they're actually more like a shelf and don't seem a very good use of space.

Also, I wonder if GHA will have another go at the fleet numbering scheme, after the over complicated one they tried a few years back was abandoned after only a short time. From purely an enthusiast point of view a single continuos numeric scheme with new additions to the fleet taking the next number ( as used by the likes of Bakers and Happy Days) would be the most straightforward.
What's the boundary point for using a system1 ticket on 88? Am I right in thinking you can only use it from wilmslow to altrincham?

Yes, you are right.

I'm guessing that YX64 VRH is the fourth member of the quartet that is at the NEC this week then?

Great photos Nick

The plan for the Enviro going to the NEC was changed, I understand, late last week because YX64VRJ was given its vinyls too late. The one that is at the NEC is YX64VRF

To be clear, I was merely stating that two out of the three vehicles I saw were showing X94, I wasn't making any reference to the number of vehicles on the service. Thanks.
R839 PRG has arrived at Ruthin, was used on the 5/X5/X52 today, might be used on the X1 tomorrow Wave
The number of buses and coaches at the Vale Travel Macclesfield outstation seems to be growing by the week, and no less than 16 were parked-up at lunchtime today, comprising of:

Optare Solos - S280 AOX, YJ59 GHF, YJ54 ZYD, YJ54 ZYE

Deckers - G760 UYT, M174 GRY and M175 GRY

Coaches - 8177 VT and BA06 GHA

Single decker buses - SN03 DZZ, SK02 TYS, H87 DVM, H279 LEF and BX54 VUB. N606 FJO

However, most interesting bus was recently acquired one-time Rossendale Optare Solo YJ54 BUW still in Rossendale livery and fleet number (49). Photo HERE

Nick, believe IIRC the deckers (gry) ones are both ex arriva as you can just make out the arriva logo in bk window of 1 of em. SN03 DZZ is another ex arriva (888) better known as 1 of a pair branded blue & yellow for the stockport duties (macc rider).

2 buses you'll not have seen which were in service when you visited YJ60 KBN on #19 prestbury duties & YJ06 FYA #27 knutsford duty. Also overheard couple passengers saying this wk that S280 AOX & YJ06 FYA both look quite scruffy both internal/externally.

Hopefully GHA will do something about this, after all image is a key thing & a few of their fleet need a smarten up big time.
Just noticed Dart SK52UTT is no longer with GHA! Sad
