PC1090231/54 - D & G BUS LIMITED T/A D & G BUS, MOSSFIELD ROAD, STOKE-ON-TRENT, ST3 5BW
Variation Accepted by SN: Operating between Canute Place, Knutsford and Canute Place, Knutsford given service number 300 effective from 01-Mar-2016. To amend Timetable.

I wonder if this is reinstating the Saturday service? (They'd already had a previous application to change it at the start of March accepted.)
Dennis Dart SLF / Alexander ALX 200 VX51 PZM was operating into Oswestry this morning on a 576 from Shrewsbury.

One driver + bus showed up in Knutsford and the driver put up "P1 Hazel Grove" on the destination display when it should have been "27 Macclesfield." He said he'd only be shown the 27A route once and hadn't been shown the 27 or 27B routes at all. This was after he had driven along the 27A route (minus the AstraZeneca extension) when he should have gone along the 27 route (via Over Peover)!

A local councillor has confirmed Cheshire East council have retracted the recent contract awards to GHA for the 300 Saturday service and the evening 37 contract and they will stay with D&G and Arriva respectively for now, while GHA have been made to refund part of the subsidy they receive for the P1 due to non-operation of services and Cheshire East are currently reviewing whether GHA should keep the contract for the P1.

Wouldn't be the first time such a thing has happened, I've helped drivers navigate routes on a number of occasions because they have not been shown the route.
I have to wonder when they start the 84 Service will GHA manage to run everything without Services going missing or getting lost...

Highly doubt it, the simple fact is they don't have enough buses, serviceable ones at least. They have no one to blame but there selves as they have clearly not anticipated the DDA. Just when it looked like GHA where finally putting together a quality operation in Cheshire they have gone and thrown it all up the wall.

Looks good, what buses generally are used on those routes? Will be interesting to see where the older ones end up.
Mainly Optare Solo's on the 1/X1/2 and a Solo or Versa I believe for the 76. Smile
New 200 timetable from 29 Feb: http://www.ghacoaches.co.uk/wp-content/u...-Daily.pdf No extra services but timings of most services are changing

New 19 weekday timetable: http://www.ghacoaches.co.uk/wp-content/u...Friday.pdf and Saturday timetable: http://www.ghacoaches.co.uk/wp-content/u...turday.pdf I don't know why GHA have produced separate pdfs for weekdays and Saturdays! It looks like weekdays are staying the same but early services on Saturdays are changing.

Haven't two of the Versas recently received the standard new GHA livery after previously being in Connect 88 livery?
