Cheshire West Update

Last night (Wednesday, 13 June) Cheshire West and Chester Council was made aware that GHA Coaches had ceased trading.
The Council has been working with other local bus operators. School children have been prioritised and every effort has been made to provide as much cover as possible.
School routes information

Replacement buses have been organised for our three school contracts to Helsby and Christleton High Schools
Service 36 will not operate today but cover has been arranged with Arrowebrook to pick up school children in Elton
Service 82 will run as normal
Service 451 will run as normal
Service 604 will be covered by Stagecoach in the Blacon area (with the exceptions of Neston and Blacon Avenue)  
Service 605 will be covered by stagecoach
Information about GHA 604 and GHA 100 will be updated in the morning
The Council is aware of some routes commissioned directly by schools. It is expected that schools will confirm the status of these services in the morning.


Deeside industrial estate
Service DB4 will operate as normal

No operators habe been listed on update at (08:34) tbh does it really matter who operating what as long as services run...good honest people have lost there jobs here (I personally hope all gha staff find work soon)
3161 just left Chester on the 82.
Yes Andy it does matter whos operating it... Different operations have different tickets available to use ect
Surely in a pinch, other operators might consider temporarily accept GHA tickets until something concrete is confirmed.

D&G Bus are saying they are accepting GHA weekly tickets on their services.
