V plate Excel was on DB3 on Friday night sorry for late reply
.
Today was the first day of operation by GHA of the 436 Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth service.

The three vehicles seen on the service were

1463 SN04EFU Transbus Enviro 300 (in the new GHA service livery) - PHOTO LINK
2103 YR10AZO Scania N230UB OmniCity (in the new GHA service livery) - PHOTO LINK
2104 YR10AZV Scania N230UB OmniCity (still in silver livery) - - PHOTO LINK

There appears to be a few teething problems that hopefully will be sorted soon. The destination blind has an unfortunate error and the timings will need some improvements - possibly after the drivers are more familiar with the route and the equipment.

In case of interest other GHA vehicles working in Shrewsbury were

1101 MX58AAU Optare Versa V1100 (96 and 501)
1103 MX58KZF Optare Versa V1100 (501 and 96) Still in East Cheshire livery with Connect 88 branding
1340 YN53SWF Optare M850 (96 and 576)
1327 V107LVH Optare Solo M850 (576)
1461 SN04EFS Transbus Enviro 300 (501)
2798 V204ENU Optare Excel L1150 (spare in bus station)
.
Issue of spelling on new 436 Shrewsbury Bridgnorth service now sorted quite quickly - LINK

Oh dear. Never noticed GHA get a destination blind wrong before even though they frequently spell place names wrong on their website. Altrincham frequently appears as Altringham and they get other place names wrong too.

I noticed that some of the dests show 'Barnton' as a via point on the 45 Northwich - Warrington service (perhaps suggesting that they considered duplicating Network Warrington's 46 instead).
But I shouldn't pick holes as I am generally a great fan of GHA's.

When I worked there 6 months ago one of the R-PRG's think was 848 (Hanover led) has 45 via barnton but also has 46 dest via lostock lol

All other buses with flip or mobitec where just 45 Warrington or 45 Northwich
Nice to see the old girl S879 SNB in service on the 3E to Penycae tonight. Used to be a regular on here in her later Arriva years.
