1472 YY15CMZ

3 x Enviro 200 for 42 Congleton to Crewe service

1405

I am aware that YY15CNA has arrived at Ruabon

Yet another livery i dont like, how come YY15CMZ has fleet numbers of its nearside but none on the offside, front or rear? seems a bit pointless.

And is sticking the MMC on the 2V really necessary be more suited on the 5 the 2V barely loads up a Cadet.

Looks my Camera is going to be busy though Smile

YY15CMZ does have a fleet number on the rear (and inside) - the rear photo was taken before the fleet number (and registration no.) was applied. I also understand that fleet numbers will be (or have been) applied before they enter service.

I have received the following comments from Stephen Bryce at GHA Coaches who would like to correct some incorrect information on posts, he has tried to join the forum so that he can provide factual and non-commercially sensitive posts but has been told the forum is not accepting any new members.

1) The ex D&G Optare Solo's are now owned by GHA Coaches Ltd along with YM52 TPV which is undergoing a full refurbishment. Once all new vehicles enter service YJ54 ZYA - ZYF will be allocated to Macclesfield Depot to give the Depot a more standard fleet.

2) At present the company has not received any grants for fitting Wi-Fi to buses.

3) The PVR of the Beartown service is 2 buses.

4) The reduction in frequency on service 5 is part of a larger change on service 5/2v. Basically Service 2v is withdrawn and replaced by service 5c which will operate every 20 minutes giving a combined 5/5c of every 10 minutes between Plas Madoc - Ruabon - Johnstown - Wrexham. Service 5 extensions to Corwen are withdrawn due to low patronage and customers can use service T3 which is now nearly hourly with two additionally journeys between Wrexham and Corwen provided by new service 94. The PVR of the new number 5 is 8 buses which will be SB120's and they will be repainted into a new livery similar to the GHA Gold but with Green replacing the Gold and a thicker white strip separating the colours. If this change is successful then it will receive new buses in 2016.

OK. In that case I've been given misleading information regarding wi-fi by someone at Cheshire East. (Which wouldn't be surprising as the local Conservatives have been trying to claim credit for things they haven't done in the run up to the election.)

Although, if GHA funded it then it's a bit strange that the T&Cs you have to accept to use it are Cheshire East council T&Cs and that they've only provided it on Cheshire East council contracted services so far.

Quote:3) The PVR of the Beartown service is 2 buses.

I've worked out how the Beartown services can be worked with 2 buses. Although, there's very little recovery time if the same 2 buses are used all day.
