I've been reading through the thread for weeks trying to pinpoint when GHA started operating in Warrington but I can't seem to find. Can anyone enlighten me? I got a shock when I saw a 16 in Warrington a few weeks back.
Also, does anybody know how well used the 36 Runcorn to Ellesmere Port service is? The last few times I've seen it it's had quite low loadings but it was around 1/2pm, so not exactly a peak time.

Think it's around a year and a half to 2 years since they started the 45's

May have been longer but that's my guess don't know for sure but they have deffinatly been doing 45's for at least a year

From what I can find, the 16's have been going since 5th May 2015 (see registration PC1098981/37 on VOSA) and the 45's since 18th August 2014 (PC1098981/27).

No surprise to see the last two in the list. I thought the number 8 had been Stagecoach for a while now. Presumably the 21 refers to the Sunday service being cancelled as the evening service is Stagecoach.

To add a bit more information the 45 was originally launched using the ex-Go Ahead R reg Wright Renowns (which just happened to arrive in an all red livery.) Those were replaced by the 2 x brand new Metrocities when they joined GHA which were given a livery similar to the GHA Gold Enviros which GHA had, at the time, recently introduced for the 88 route. Although, when the extra services were launched it meant other buses were used alongside the Metrocities.
The 46 may have been cancelled but so far their 45 Service has not been

Indeed. However, the 16 and 46 services were the ones which required 1/2 extra buses and people reported them often not turning up.
And this was on VOSA yesterday
