In my replies above I forgot about the 45 - Warrington - Northwich service. My understanding (not confirmed) is that this is worked from Winsford. I would welcome any confirmation of this.

The B10's used on it are stored in Tarvin or the 2 R plate ones where last week... Both orange and green Ellesmere Port Solos present came in to Tarvin off 6/7
(07/10/2014 13:10)DLG817 Wrote: [ -> ]I have found that it is impossible to keep an up to date depot allocation - mainly because there is a very rapid exchange of vehicles between depots. The main reason being that most of the maintenance of vehicles is undertaken at Ruabon and therefore there is usually a rotation during inspections and when repair work is undertaken.

My observation and understanding of 'service' vehicles at Winsford recently are :-

4 x Cheshire East liveried vehicles YT59GHB, YT59GHD, YT59GHG and DK09ENW
2 x GHA(low floor) Solos recently seen X319CBT (working Ruabon yesterday) and LJI8023
2 x low floor service buses – R838/9RPG (not confirmed these are Winsford vehicles)
1 x non low floor service bus - N8GHA

Coaches (including midi coaches) at Winsford this week:-
144XUB, 6052VT, ASV257, BP52XAE, DA04GHA, G410YAY, HIB967, M784RVY, M905OVR, R636RSE, R979PRD, UKZ5466, YN54OAU, YN54OAW

Minibuses this week at Winsford were:-
KE04JUY, KF02ZSO, WX05XVN, WX54PWV

Service buses which have been at Tarvin recently are : -

AA04GHA, BA56GHA, B10PTL, CA53GHA (at Ruabon on Monday), GA04GHA, MX58KZF, NA04GHA, R226HCD, R503JFE (at Ruabon on Monday), R504JFE, SK02TYS, SN03DZZ, SN04EFT, SN04EFV, T314UOX, T510APS, X9GHA, YJ04BVB, YJ59GFX, YJ59GFY, YJ59GHA, YM52TPO, YM52TPU, YM52TPX (working Ruabon on Monday),

Non low floor Deckers which were at Tarvin this week :-
1810VT, 4051VT, 8701VT, G627EKA, K129DAO, K130DAO, K656UNH, L602NOS, M168GRY, N621KUA, N622KUA, R371DJN, R638MNU, S644KJU

Low floor Deckers which have been seen at Tarvin recently :-
V220MEV, W465WGH, W469BCW, W471WGH

Single deck school vehicles at Tarvin:-
P5VLT, 9509VT

AGAIN I will repeat that the above is simply based on my observations and cannot be held to be a reliable depot allocation list.

What about the Metrorider is it still at tarvin
Although its a secure site is there any views/vantage points near wimsford depot? I know its on an industrial estate so should be able get a view from somewhere.

Also I believe you'll find the #27 knutsford service is probs worked by macc depot along with the #19 prestbury runs plus the local schools contracts that gha have in macc. If anyone wants phots etc then macc depot is just off windmill street in macc.
I thought the 130, 289 and 88 be Macclesfield workings as well be surprised if Tarvin depot dues to dead millage especially 130

Also looks like drivers on 6/7 Ellesmere Port do both routes so Tarvin Operation and seen some Tarvin lads on Nantwich locals as well as Whitchurch Routes so unless both depots share them

I believe the 11/11A are shared between Tarvin and Wrexham depot

If I am wrong on any of there please correct also seen A Tarvin Driver doing the X22 a few times

Anyway sounds like a lot of inter working depot routes in the company sure I will find out more soon
Gha have lost the tender for the Snowdon Sherpa network. This means that from November 1st all services on the Snowdon Sherpa will be operated by Express Motors
I presume Express will use there Open Top VR on the route Padarn had the Open Topper on or has that route finished as A Open Top Service
Wasn't a requirement in the tender although it could return in the Summer
Details of the major changes to services in Cheshire East are now available on the council's website here:

http://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/public_tr...anges.aspx

Some significant gains there for GHA, I'd estimate work for at least extra 10 buses Monday - Saturday.
