Its ashame really as GHA could be a really good independent company if they could sort out the problems there having as they have to watch they don't expand to quickly without the resources as that's what it looks like is happening , similar to what happened to supertravel.

Providing theres enough vehicles maybe agency drivers would be short term quick fix for any company needing extra drivers?....
Surely the levels of unreliability of services not running cannot continue to carry on.
When they started their 84 I was told they had hired a dozen agency drivers to help out, but this caused more resentment amongst their own drivers as the agency staff were paid more than them. There were some reports in the local papers at the time of drivers having to ask passengers the way or failing to go the full route as they did not know the area, guessing that these were the agency drivers.
Does anyone know who is operating the Cheshire Show shuttles next week? In recent years it's been GHA. Cheshire East have put a timetable on their website but haven't disclosed who is running it.

Theres 3 adverts from the same agency... 100 drivers cheshire for a small freindly firm then 50 drivers where it mentions Cheshire Winsford Tarvin then 15 drivers Tarvin.

So presumably all 3 adverts are for GHA - I carnt think of another 'Cheshire' firm that would require 100 drivers, but if they are recruiting upto 165 drivers it would suggest there's a pretty large gap to fill.

They've been advertising for drivers at Ruthin, Ruabon, Tarvin, Winsford & Shrewsbury since last year so it sounds like they are having problems recruiting.
