Hi andy theyve had to start using bigger buses on it as the tempos and solos couldnt cope with the volume of passengers sice the students returned 2 weeks ago since then weve had omnicities and one of the T***JWA scanias on it.
I know the extra morning 319 journey from St Helens is usually a Dart.

That explains why I've seen Tempos on the long 319s then
Just had a look at the Lancashire County Changes Leaflet for November and from 25th November the 319 will change as follows. The 0945 journey from St Helens and the 1231 journey from Ormskirk will be re-routed via Rainford By-Pass and no longer serve Bickerstaffe.

Probably as a result of the frequency being reduced from 15' to 20'.
Little bit out of the blue here, but SLT will start jointly running the 715 Mon-Sat daytime service from next week with Arriva, which will see the 715 maintain an overall half-hourly service. This follows Arriva's decision to reduce their operation to an hourly service. TfGM timetable indicates that the SLT journeys are being operated commercially.

SLT liveried S400 SLT on the 319 today along with the usual red Omnicity YN04 GMX
