Solo 20673 CV55AXW seen on tow after breaking down on 29 this morning
Big news here over the last few weeks is that Diamond North West ended Double-Deck operation at the end of last month with most if not all deckers passing to Preston Bus which is using then to replace its native Tridents that are now falling appart with several of them already being withdrawn.
4 new Wright Streetlites are said to be on order for Atherton depot these are 9.6m versions so are possibly to replace older Optare Solo's or Midibuses
Mellor Strada demonstrator LK68ZTC seen in Altrincham on school service 768 (Partington to St.Ambrose, Hale Barns). I believe this is an Atherton working.
The 768/Mellor Demo is an Eccles working and is on loan until the end of the week. One streetlight has arrived at Atherton, I never took the reg but it's gone down to Tovodale for repaint before returning with the rest.

It now feels a treat to have done the 2 double-deckers in Wigan in November.
How many double deckers did DBNW have?
