R694WAW driving through Tyldesley at 1855 with 'Not in service' on the front with passengers on , so i'm guessing it was the 1815 132 from the Trafford Centre , luckily for those wanting wigan the 32 wasn't far behind :P
I've seen that happen before - not only is it unfair to intending passengers!

Don't see why it was either , only a half load and only 20 minutes late which is common for the 132 anyway , sometimes it doesn't matter if its a frequent service (10 - 15 minute frequency) and a full standing load but it wasn't full , it was the last one of the day and it's only every hour - not on !
When I used to work in Wigan (prior to December last year) I used to see it frequently, although this was with the second-to-last journey from Trafford Centre. However it was always the same driver doing it.
Further new timetable for the 319 from the 1st September now on SLT website:

http://www.sltbus.com/ttables/319_2012-09-01.pdf

There will be an additional early morning journey from St Helens at first glance.
comparing both timetables thats the only change, wonder why they are doing that
My guess would be because it's the start of the University term.
Request from the university/students? Looking at the time it terminates in Ormskirk anyway, and judging by the lack of a return journey, I'd assume the bus will do that 319 trip followed by a morning school run.
Its the bus that Interworks with the EL1.

Rather then running dead to Ormskirk, a morning bus now runs from St Helens then to Ormskirk, Where it then does the EL1
Unusual working today - X80SLT out on the 581.
