Meridians and Eclipses
Good to see Rotala steamrolling a repaint program but the all over blue livery isn't half drab, even with route brandingto enhance it, compared to their excellent more vibrant Preston Bus one.
I Noted a none route branded Eclipse on the 132 yesterday so more must have arrived

Definitely agree.
Rotala's 'Black diamond' livery was quite striking, but the blue just looks so uninspiring ... almost as bad as Arriva's inter-urban livery :P
Almost as bad as white front Stagecoach Livery!
Well, the all over blue is surely better than the 1975-1987 CIE all over tan!
Liveries are the hardest things on a bus to get right , you need something that doesnt show up too much dirt and is easy to clean in the winter if you can not use an all over wash .

Rotala are absolute geniuses at it though.
I'm sure they can come up with better than the 'Blue Diamond' livery, given their other works of art.
Prestonbus liveried Scania PL06RYO was on the EL1 yesterday.
Sure I'm sure I saw 30509 FJ 57 CYT in Bolton yesterday. Must be a recent transfer as it has the Red Diamond fleetname rather than the normal green. Looked a bit bashed too with new white rear end panels!

Also there was a 635 branded MAN.
