It is SORN I can tell you that much.
Rotala have submitted a judicial review into the bus franchising proposals in Greater Manchester. This is in addition to Stagecoach's submission earlier this week.

They Lost the case and looks like they are going to be first area to be taken over. I can see then maybe moving the new buses out now.

I’m sure they’ll still go to Bolton First with the emissions rules coming in the B7RLEs won’t be compliant I can see why Rotala aren’t happy having spent £26 million for the StreetDecks

but that not till spring 2022 so for case of 9 months they can just cut services or move in older euro 6 from midlands or ex London buses as may work out cheaper and moving new one to Birmingham as they have a new zone also who know depent how. they take the news.

The Agenda document (https://democracy.greatermanchester-ca.g....pdf?T=10) states that it "provide an option to incumbent operators to sell their suitable existing vehicles at their residual value".

I don't see why Diamond would move the buses into other areas when it's not for another several years and they can either choose to sell the GMCA or transfer to another Rotala area when the time comes.

Yes they will get residual value but like anyone who buys a new car will tell you put a number plate on the car and you lose Value. But DNW will have payments still on the buses and will have interest outstanding.
So buying 2nd buses from London for Cash is a better plan if you move your unpaid buses out and sell the Ex London buses to TFGM as the residual value will work out about same as what paid for them unlike buses that are not paid for.
Solo SR's 20918 and 20921 are back at Eccles following a brief stint at Preston.
