That's right Jack! For a period it's just one while the other vehicle does a Rainford school run.
Christmas service details for SLT have now been published onto their website. Headline is the running of services on Boxing Day and New Year's Day for the first time. EL1 will not operate between 24 December and 1 January.
24 December - normal service with 126 finishing earlier (1745 from Leigh, 1825 from Trafford Centre).
25 December - no service
26 December - 126 weekday service until 2015, 132 Saturday service, 300 weekday service only
27 / 28 December - normal service, except on 514, 515, 574, 635 operating Saturday service.
29 / 30 December - normal service
31 December - normal service with 126 finishing earlier (1745 from Leigh, 1825 from Trafford Centre).
1 January - 126 Sunday service only

EL1 is undergoing a route and timetable change from 1 january think the route change is to enable it to serve the new university entrance near scarth hill water tower and the campus internal roads.
A bit of news here The Bolton Metroshuttle is to operate for another twelve months however Maytree have lost the contract and it is to be operated by South Lancs Travel, not sure from what date or what is likely to be used on it.
