When are the next batch of vehicles due to replace more of Firsts loans?

Only I've seen something saying that the 34s are replacing the evening 26 service but that goes via Swinton whereas 34 goes nowhere near Swinton these days and instead runs via Monton and Salford Royal Hospital.
I think no one would really travel between central Swinton and Leigh, its hardly a high user route, and in any case Vantage can be accessed on the A580 just outside Swinton. Swinton is served by the 37 and 38 between 1800 and 2400 in any case, so not really a major priority to retain this route in those area's.
Once regulation occurs if it does, then that's an opportunity to introduce a recast network around Worsley which has lost several routes since Vantage opened an establish new links, although Worsley has high car usership,
which is another reason why bus user ship has not been able to be retained at substantial levels within that area.

From July's GMCA meeting:
Quote:The daily hourly evening service 26 is currently provided with the financial support from TfGM.
In order to simplify the network in the Salford and Wigan areas, it is proposed that a package of changes are made to evening services to bring them into line with the commercial day-time network.
As part of this, it is recommended that evening service 26 be withdrawn.
Alternative facilities are provided between Leigh and Worsley, Court House by Service 34 (see below).
The section of route between the junction of Worsley Road and Greenleach Lane and the East Lancs Road will become unserved in the evening.
This will affect an average of 1.22 passengers per trip, Monday to Friday, 1.33 per trip on Saturdays and 1.22 per trip on Sundays.
Quote:Officers are proposing the introduction of a new daily hourly evening service 34. This evening service will match the daytime commercial operation and provide a partial replacement for service 26 (see above).

Interestingly Simon Dunn has said "I cannot comment" reply on another forum.
;
I can't think of a 50 vehicle candidate.
