They use examiners based at Bredbury and Atherton so it’s pretty normal to see them on test routes in the area.

Very strange scenario. Bob and Simon Dunn along with senior brass from Diamond and TFGM, along with Andy Burnham himself, yet ironically the Dunns tried on many occasions legally to overturn the whole Bee project.
Their latest attempt to throw it off track deregistering some of their work early has and will cost TFGM if they can pay agency drivers £20 an hour.
All very strange.

Indeed, on the face of it very bizarre. However, you don't bite the hand that is going to feed you.
After the 'launch' event in Bolton this morning, yellow 40810 went straight out into service, on route 8.
The consenus of opinion is that the yellow could have been livened up a little bit , on twitter it has been nicked the custard bus for its blandness , a dark yellow would have look better.

I agree. The Liverpool City Region is some way behind Manchester in the franchising process but has already adopted a new yellow-based livery but with a lot of black and grey relief for the twenty hydrogen-powered buses it has bought and which are shortly about to enter service on the Liverpool - St Helens 10A trunk service.
