I wonder whether the gain of Mon-Sat evening journeys on route 33 has been assisted by the takeover of Go Goodwins and thus the Eccles base?
As far as I know Diamond had known that they had gained 33s long before they had took over the Eccles base and from what I've heard recently all 33s will be operated out of Atherton Depot.
Not sure if this is the right thread but the former Preston Bus Lynx 31215 was in Liverpool yesterday on Rail Replacement service from Lime Street, noted parked on Skelhorn Street
Ex Midlands Volvo B7RLE/ Wright Eclipse 30862 BU08MTE is currently operating out of Eccles.
I rode route 293 yesterday afternoon. It was worked by Solo 20928, which I think came from Preston given its moquette. The seating was quite elegant, indicating that the vehicle may have been refurbished. Dublin Bus use a very similar or identical moquette.

Due to a late 65, the 16.15 journey was cancelled. Even the 16.52 was delayed in traffic and took just over an hour for its round trip. I am relieved to have decided to ride it yesterday not January. Had similar events occurred in January, I would have had to ride the route in the dark.
Can you clarify it was definitely 20928 as i don't have it on my Rotala fleet database i read

Was it 20829? ex Dunn Line and Blue Diamond?

Sorry if I transposed the digits. It's not a fleet I know very well, and for personal reasons I was a bit less focussed on buses than usual. Blush
20677 YJ59GGE has been repainted into Diamond Livery.
Diamond Bus have re-launched their West Midlands/Worcestershire and North West website, merging them into one website. So, the news section includes news from both the Midlands and Greater Manchester. Should mean that the website may be updated more frequently than the old standalone Diamond Bus NW website. Also mentions that mobile tickets are available on DBNW services, along with a bus tracker, which should allow you to see where buses are on the route.

The new website has the timetables for the Preston Bus services 5, 6, 312 and 313 in Ormskirk as well, which has been operated by Atherton depot. All of the Go Goodwins-acquired services are now on the website too.

Details of DBNW's Christmas services can be found on the new website. Also, like several other operators, we can expect some fare changes in the New Year.

Thank you for details of their revised website SF07. It is excellent that all their Midlands & North West services can be found here. Admittedly, not their Preston, Heathrow/Surrey or Bristol operations under different trading names. But at least people need never find the "wrong" Diamond website by mistake.
