Seems like dead millage changes really forthe X39 and the 132. Does anyone know of any buses having to start in Manchester at around 8-half 8 which could explain the X8 as otherwise, this seems like an increase in resources.
The rest seems like reliability changes. Good thing for Diamond to be doing at such an early stage.
What is Rotala's plan for an alternative for the 90 odd Wrightbus Streetdecks remaining from their order now that Wrights have gone belly up?
Considering First will be expecting their loan vehicles back to cascade to other units and a schedule will be planned for those to return. Just saying.....
The changes to 132 and 300 Trafford Centre make perfect sense considering both these services are now operated out of Eccles Depot.
The odd thing is that despite Diamond getting the evenimg 68 journies back from First Manchester (Oldham Depot), nothing is mentioned about 2 service which seems First at Oldham will still operate from next momth.
694 tender will be operated by Tyrers

Nothing yet - there's no immediate rush. It's a case of wait & see what happens with Wrightbus initially, incase anyone takes on the business in some form.
The First loan vehicles are with DBNW for up to two years and will be returned in batches. There's certainly not 90 odd to be returned anytime soon. There's only the 11 x 14 plate Enviro400's that were due to be returned by 31st Dec 2019, the next batch of 10 deckers has until 30th June 2020. There's a large batch due back by 31st Dec 2020 i.e. the entire B7RLE fleet plus some more deckers.
Rotala have only taken 121 First loan vehicles, an extra B7RLE wasn't taken (69143).

I can't think of a 50 vehicle candidate.
Yes, I saw.
Yourbus themselves may be around 50 buses, but will exceed that with the Tourismo fleet iirc ? Interestingly their MD & company secretary that was running it for Scott Dunn resigned on 19th Sept.
I don't see why they would put the discs on the Preston Bus licence if the intention was to take over an operation south of Bolton - I wondered if Shaw/Kirkby Lonsdale were going to give up bus operation, but that can't come anywhere near 50 discs surely.

Not sure, other than Dunn Motor Traction Ltd (ta Yourbus) operates in the NE Traffic area i.e. different to where Rotala currently hold licenses. Either way, if not Yourbus, Heanor is being used to mask the next acquisition.
I did wonder about just the bus operations of Tyrers possibly? Or Pilkington Bus (Boomerang Travel Ltd) has 35 discs, Preston Bus already operate in to Clitheroe.
I wonder if the 4 Scanias at Bolton will go back to Preston or are they still needed at Bolton?
