If so, I would assume it would be the leather seated (ex X35) Geminis currently based at Bolton. Well, that would seem the most logical option!

One thing that I've found out is that morning peak X34s will NOT serve Boothstown (thank goodness, I can live with it in the evening peak as traffic flow through Boothstown is lighter when compared with the morning flow.

Quote:Also does anybody know which depot's will be operating the revised 12/25/26 routes?

Again, further details have come out about this. The 12 will be reduced to hourly, and the 25 will also run hourly. Apparently, the 25 will run via Astley, so I assume it will run up Prince's Avenue and Astley Street to remove some of the void left by SLT's withdrawal of the 581. It will also terminate at Piccadilly.

The 26 will remain as an evening / Sunday service. All three services will run as a limited stop service between Swinton and Salford Central Station. Still don't know about which depot is running what, but could all be run by one depot as they may interwork?

Also, further info has come out about more changes to services:

24 - commercial service withdrawn. This would leave just two Sunday morning journeys running out of Manchester. I can see TfGM withdrawing these if no replacement is provided for the rest of the service.

93/137/138 - some sort of big revamp, details not yet available (apparently a "version 2" is being awaited).

98 - minor timetable change on Sundays.

167 - terminus moved from Piccadilly to Shudehill.

180/184 - timetable revised (journeys moved round by 10 minutes), probably now Metrolink work has ended.

182 - rerouted via Nuthurst Road to replace the 24.

353/354 - minor retiming for punctuality issues.

610 - extended to Lockett Road as previously mentioned. Reduced to run every 20 minutes though.

625/626 - retimed.

X84 - evening journeys to run 5 minutes later.

Summer times on services 8, 17/17A/18, 32, 33, 37, 52, 53, 68, 81/A, 82/83, 98, 100, 110, 180/4, 409, 425, 471, 507, 510, 524, 540, 561/2, 575, 582, 598, 600/1, 621/8, 631/2

Many thanks, Mic. Much appreciated.

May I ask another question, this time on the eco service buses.

I know

Bury work solos on 154
Bolton work versas on the 512/13 and a versa and their solo on the 484
Ashton work solos on the 41 and 419 and versas on the 380/81/86 at Stockport

But what do Queens Road work their two versas on? I thought the 27 but I have not seen either on this route. Not that I have been in Manchester recently.
Spotted 37372 on the 37 this afternoon in the new livery. Just awaiting the branding. Anyone know what branding it will get?

Not surprised about the 24, had been going downhill since the 181/182 was increased in 2009. Interesting that they're re-routing the 182, obviously got some customers along that section of the route. The route on Broadway between Nuthurst Road and Oldham Road isn't that busy, so no real loss there. Shame there'll be a less frequent service between Elk Mill-Royton.

Second full repaint for this beast as this 37301 and 37390 were the only ones to get a full Barbie repaint.

Just to add, the only ex x35 geminis at Bolton are 37301 37303 and 37304, myself Id have thought, Queens Road batch of geminis 37279 37280,1,2,3,4,5,6,90 would have made more sense for possible transfer to Wigan for X34 dutys

I was saying that as the ex X35 deckers are from the same batch of leather seated Geminis that WN have, whereas QS's have the standard Esteban Civic seating. By sending all three over, that would also give WN a spare Gemini for use on the 32 and X34... or for when they feel like deploying one onto the 600! lol
