There is an Enviro 400 demonstrator parked up at Bolton depot (behind withdrawn 31915). Its in a dark grey livery with blue and green stripes. Can't see the reg but a surprise to see it there. Any reason why? First Games 33715 is also still parked up there.

Do Bolton only have one Games Enviro? Maybe something to do with that, they might have borrowed the Demo for driver familliarisation, since Oldham have two and Bolton only have one it would explain the borrowing!

One thing that I've discovered since I put this timetable together is that the 0525 journey on the 26 will remain, albeit it will be retimed to depart Leigh at 0515 instead.
37290 was working the 8 today. Slightly confusing as it still has the 17/18 route branding on the bus in addition to the all-over advert. Also noticed another 8 with a non-scrolling destination display. Had 'Manchester Shudehill via Farnworth' in the similar style to the displays of the 83 and 180/184.
Couple of Darts out on Manchester-bound services. 40402 was on the 37 and 40419 on the 83.

Looks like it'll arrive into Manchester and then change into the 12 at 6.13am.
First's fares offer on the 17/18 route continues in their battle against JPT, now being extended until 2 September with some new additions/alterations.
Child day and weekly tickets are now available on the routes, with a child day ticket at £1.25 and weekly at £4.50.
They have also introduced a adult monthly ticket at £30 to add to the day (£2.50) and weekly (£9) tickets. In addition to this, the weekly and monthly tickets for the 17/18 route will be valid on all First services on Saturdays and Sundays.
Also introduced weekly and child tickets on the 81/81A/88/89 between Moston and Manchester (competing with JPT service 118).
