Some interesting allocations at Oldham today

Citaro and Enviro 300 on 181s
Enviro 300 and Enviro 400 on 58s along with usual B7s

Was a bit surprised to see 37374 heading into Manchester along Higher Cambridge Street this morning on the 99, until I realised that they operate the 0815 weekday journey from Whalley Range High School to Manchester and wasn't a case of a First bus operating a Finglands service.

OFT website still has a expected decision date of 27 January (next Monday), so not long to go (in theory) until we find out whether the First/Finglands takeover is cleared

Does anybody know why P510 LND is still in service despite being now 17 years old?

Cause it moves and it costs less to keep it alive than to buy a new bus. Come on first still use X and Y reg solos, R reg darts and bury have a few very old deckers

I mean because it is keeping an X reg dart off the road, not that I'm complaining about one of the best darts still being in service.

Wigan's R reg darts were always my favourite

40336 now out in service in the Oldham area. Spotted it myself today on the 410/411 service and looks quite smart now in the new livery:
