Service 184 Uppermill: changes in departure times of service 184 to/from Uppermill - First will still provide 3 buses per hour but at more evenly spaced intervals;
Service 184 Uppermill Sundays: Increase in frequency of Sunday buses to Uppermill. During shopping hours First will provide 3 buses per hour from Uppermill to Oldham and Manchester rather than 1. This will mean a bus every 15 minutes from Greenfield Railway Station through Grotton and Lees to Oldham and Manchester;
Services 180/184: Additional journeys mid-evening to cater for evening Shoppers; additional early journeys on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Faster timetable as roadworks related to Metrolink construction end;
Service 425 Holts and Fitton Hill: Increase in frequency at off peak times from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes;
Service 83 Sholver: revised times with faster journeys on route 83 (Monday to Saturday) and additional early Sunday morning journey introduced;
Service 408 Buckstones to Stalybridge - retimed at peak times to improve timekeeping.
Thanks for the update.
As someone who lives on the 180/184 route, that's good news to hear that they'll be making more improvements. Speeding up the journeys should get rid of the situation of buses having to wait up to 5 minutes at Garden Suburb. Also, I've often thought there should be a more frequent Sunday service on the east side of Oldham along Lees Road to/from Saddleworth.
Hopefully, having 4 buses per hour (a case of extending the Manchester-Oldham Mumps buses to Uppermill) rather than 2 will see the 180/184 run on time more than it currently does, as the buses from Uppermill or Greenfield are often 5 minutes late when they're heading through Hollinwood and Failsworth.
One of the newer B7s involved in an accident at the Salford Shopping Centre this morning. Manchester Evening News reporting that a 33-year old man was dragged underneath the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Hopefully, he will recover.

I heard news about a tree fallen on a B9TL causing damage to upper deck, can anyone confirm this? I hopefully not 37399.
Oldham Evening Chronicle story about the 180/184 changes. One change not mentioned previous on here is that 180 to increase back to half-hourly from end of January 2014. Article also states that 'First are also considering other issues raised at a Saddleworth and Lees consultation event for possible implementation in April 2014'. So, more possibly to come.

Shamd about the crash. Any chance of explaining how you speed up a journey which is already tight for time at points? (83)

Are the aforementioned 5 Darts (40380/82/84 40372/419) withdrawn awaiting scraping, or are they still in service..?
Thanks in advance...
I am visiting the East end of GM today, so any real time gen on Olympians and Darts working in the Oldham, Middleton and Ashton-under-Lyne areas would be gratefully received. I will post my sightings of the above into group as I see them.
Thanks in advance.

The 5 above darts are permanently out of use and awaiting its fate. 40361/4/416 and First pioneer loan (From Ashton) 40406 are in service in Oldham, best found on the 415 route. 40403 the one dart still in service in Ashton
Thanks...Might be a trip on the Alkrington roller coaster later then...
