Also, spotted 37309 running through Salford on one of the Olympic shuttles to Old Trafford and 37418 in the new livery on the 25.
no 34100 was at Pioneer before 40381 accident saw it broke down in Ashton today the bus covering is 31917 it has an on Hire Sticker to first Pioneer in the front window it is not good for the hills of Tameside so slow
Intersting choice sending 31917, it has to be the worst arrow remaining in service, and I know what you mean on the slowness. I had it last week on the 572, and It was pretty scary on the hills, kept expecting it to roll back down once it stopped.
I am suprised 31952 was not borrowed again now that bus flys up the hills

Both 40343 (AN) and 40350 were in both in the BN workshop having work done on them and their rear end paintwork had been rubbed down, maybe getting a back repaint like 40359.
40343 is withdrawn but me thinks it could be reinstated to replace 40381
Typo on my original message - it's 40341 not 40343 thats being "touched up".
37403 is another BN repaint.
OM B7RLEs noted on loan to BN to cover B9s include 66848,66858,66892. Anymore for anymore?
66897 still noted In the Bolton Area
Don't think It will be two long before 37425 returns from Om looking good on flickr, coming along nicely

31919 has got to be worse than 31917 LOL!
I had it on the 519 in Bolton on Tuesday, what a failure that was! :P However, 31919 is alright once it gets going though, whereas 31917 continues to be slow!
The image poster seems to claim it's Oldham depot though...
I wonder if that Citaro being there is a sign of things to come. I heard previously in the thread that Citaro's are possibly to return to Oldham...
No pics online, but pics in the Oldham Chronicle showed that 40418 had some problems this morning. Was on the 415 route and caused severe tailback around Union Street, Mumps and Princes Street.
From the Oldham Chronicle:
"A BUS engineer took drastic action to prevent further rush-hour chaos through Oldham town centre today.
Traffic came to a grinding halt at 7am on the diversion between Union Street and Rhodes Bank — when a First bus got stuck in Bridge Street.
A mechanical failure meant the bus could only go forward — so when the driver tried to reverse to clear a road sign obstacle, she got stuck.
Buses backed up towards Mumps and with the clock ticking, a chaotic rush hour looked likely.
But the bus had to get through and one of First’s engineers came up with a simple solution — drive into the sign.
The bus pushed the sign over and ripped it out of the ground, taking off its own front spoiler in the process, But the jam quickly cleared.
The bus company is now investigating the incident."

Hmm, I think that could be Bury depot rather than Oldham hence the presence of the Citaro.
Its not BY, as the guy who took the shot, moved from Bury Depot to Oldham Depot on Monday of this week, to become full time painter. Also the citaros possibly transferring to OM, although may still happen is news to a Bury Depot driver contact. He knows nothing of the citaros leaving BY, but of course it means nothing.
Im wondering which garage will paint the bendi's which is supposed to be happening next week? Guess It could be either OM BN WN etc
