since the B5s at Queens rd appeared

Bury B9s are 37291 to 300/2/91/92/93

Ah right lol, I thought that they only had the 07/57 ones! :P

It's the old 12 registration, which has been updated to include the 25/26.

Saw a Citaro heading out of Rochdale this afternoon about 2.30ish with 471 Heywood displayed on the front. Not sure what happened there, as it was followed a few mins later by a full B7RLE heading to Bolton.

37550 now has blank sides, presumably in preparation for route branding to be added. Not sure whether it'll be an existing route (58/59, 180/184, 409) or a new one (82/83). 37382 out on the 425 today.

The evening allocation for the 83 was interesting, as it had all three Oldham-branded routes (58/59, 180/184 and 409) allocated.

The B9S have been at Bury since the end of last year, and the start of this year
Something that I forgot to mention is that 31932 really does need to be withdrawn, it seems to be getting slower and slower by the day! A truly horrible bus.
(12/06/2012 06:15)M60lad Wrote: [ -> ]Interesting that some drivers (not all) have allegedly been refusing travel to concessionary pass holders when their pass fails as I was on a 387 yesterday and it came over the radio that TfGM have apparently had complaints from passengers being refused travel due to their passes not scanning properly and that if the pass doesn't scan then drivers must still let the holder travel and under no circumstances must drivers refuse any concessionary pass holders travel

some of these drivers seem to be a law onto them selfs

Bolton Depot Drivers are a law onto themselves regarding the operating of the 512 and 513 into and out of Bury Interchange and Bolton Moor Lane Bus station. When Maytree ran these routes, they faced a lot of abuse for bad time keeping, and the issue was the kearsley spur mostly, and the tight timings in and out of Bolton and Bury repectivley. Now though, both routes haven't been running to time for the last two weeks, drivers going the wrong way, and these are drivers that operate this route on a daily basis. So much so that today, at Bury a TFGM offical was talking to us, and saying sorry for the issues with the late running, so much so that we over heard a conversation, with the Bury inspector, being told in no un certain terms get on the phone to Bolton Depot and find out what is going on. He handed out complaint forms to us all, and every passenger took one. Not that I'am stupid enough to believe it will do any good. It does seem though that timings is not enough of an exscuse anymore as these routes never run to time, no matter what time of day it is.

I have to smile at least TFGM are trying to show us they are doing something about under performing services that they pay for.

Do those new Optare things break down like all of the time or something? It wasn't too long ago when one stopped in Salford because the driver said that she couldn't see through the windscreen for whatever reason, so everybody off that bus had to get on the bus that I was on, which was an X34 I think. Then yesterday, 49121 came into Bolton on the 512/3, and after the drivers changed the driver got off and she said something about there was going to be a delay because of something to do with the bus and a mechanic needed to see to it. I'm sure that was the same driver of the dodgy windscreen one too! Proper quality new buses! Smile
