Now explain to me WHY FIRST DO STUPID THINGS LIKE THIS. It just aggravates me to a whole new level. They make am absolute sows ear of everything.
37451 is a 58/59 branded bus
I meant 58/59 branded, always get them back to front lol
Long way for a run out for those buses, but again first are annoying like that.:P
(08/07/2012 10:51)66905 Wrote: [ -> ]37424 now repainted into new livery, seen on Bolton bus station this morning. :-)
Also, 501s not able to use correct stops on Blackhorse St, because of road resurfacing, ended up missing my bus cause all the previous 501s i saw were using stand A, then i went to catch mine at stand A and it went straight past :-( Buses were not supposed to be stopping here, but going past the bus station and stopping outside the post office. I wasn't best pleased. Also, no info on gmpte or First website, had to find out from a small sign in the bus station supervisors window. :-(((((
I had & inkiling, 37424 was next, a few days ago, was completly de branded. I Will give first Bolton one thing they are getting a move on with these repaints.

37425 was out on Friday still in the old livery. 37424 is the first of the 37 branded ones to be done. This wasnt completely debranded before hand, this one had its offside removed around 12 months ago and not replaced due to an accident and panel replacements. Also, remember quite a few of the 36/37 ones were not completely branded in the first place three years ago, some had the front window bit missing, bubbles on the back window, side bits. 37420 is the worst, this is still running around as initially branded with loads missing.
They are basically taking in three a week on a Monday and back in service the follwoing weekend. I'm sure the painters are getting a bit sick of repainting the same each week especially after doing all of Oldham's as well.

Also 37424 did have stupid destination names removed as well, and the snow flakes went long ago.

Rumor from a friend says, that the 16 deckers at Bury will be next once the Oldham and Bolton repaints are fully complete. If Bury is next, it wont take long, they have less than 20 B9 and at 3 a week, it won't take long at all

Haha, it looks like you 'sneak em in' where people won't notice you! Bless, you should see me with my massive camera these days. NO SHAME
Anyway it was fun looking through them, good shots.
Also, why have Bolton reverted back to the old format on their destination displays? They look stupid!

Liam you are right, you've just said what I think, the destinations look stupid with the old format.
Oldham's are great, everything is good to look at, you notice the main destination and number, and it's really clean. Bolton's just look... funny. How come they haven't followed suit with Oldham?
Allow us to compare:
This was good.
This is good.
This however, was the best.
I saw one of Bolton's repainted buses with the new (Oldham) style display format in use last week.
