I heard that one in Bolton yesterday (40405), it had those loud thuds/vibrations going on when it was moving...I don't know if it was the driver messing about with it or not as it was moving at the time through the bus station. However, later on I saw it again and it wasn't doing it. :P

Seems 40405 has more good days than bad, best dart in Bolton has to be 40400 ex WiganLOL
TfGM have published the summer timetable for First services. Noticed that the 180/184 timetable is different from previous summers in that it doesn't have faster morning journeys to Manchester. Instead, it looks like they've almost reverted back to the previous timetable dated pre-March, with the 180s and 184s that commence from Diggle and Uppermill departing 10 mins earlier throughout the day and some of the early evening journeys from Uppermill-Greenfield to Oldham being withdrawn.

However, there does seem to be some flaws with it. Firstly, the 7.17am 184 departure from Manchester arrives at Uppermill at 8.20am then it would look like it'll head to Greenfield to start the 8.31am departure to Manchester. Also, the 7.07pm 184 Diggle-Manchester journey seems to leave a minute before the 6pm 184 Manchester-Diggle service arrives in Diggle, which is either bad timetable planning or a 45 minute wait for the bus that leaves Manchester at 5.10pm for Diggle.Hammer

40381 has been involved in accident on the 350 this afternoon in Mossley:

From M.E.N:

At least 10 injured as bus crashes into wall at Mossley railway station
[Image: C_71_article_1583998_image_list_image_li...3A46%3A455]

A bus packed with passengers has smashed into the wall of a railway station in Mossley.

The single-decker bus was driving up Stamford Road shortly after 12.30pm today when the driver lost control and ploughed into the stone wall.

The front of the bus, the 350 service to Ashton, was severely damaged after hitting the wall, which is part of Mossley station.

At least 10 people travelling on the bus were injured, an ambulance service spokeswoman said.

Five people have been taken to Tameside Hospital.

Three are said to have minor injuries, while the other two were put on a spinal board - although it is not known how serious their injuries are. Three people were taken to Royal Oldham Hospital with minor injuries.

Some of the walking wounded were treated by paramedics at a nearby doctor's surgery, according to witnesses. Fire fighters and ambulance workers led injured passengers to safety through an emergency exit at the back of the bus because the normal exit was unusable.

Alison Hobson, the landlady at the Britannia pub nearby, said: "I was just interviewing someone for a bar job position when we noticed all the commotion with police cars, fire and ambulances."

Greater Manchester Police have closed the top of Stamford Road, causing traffic jams.

All emergency services are still at the scene and the bus has not been moved.

Terrible I hope the passengers, were not to badly hurt, god knows what happened to come together with a wall. Id say it would be withdrawn.

I think possibly

Replacements

Me thinks either 40371 or 40372 maybe both, as 40370 is there

outside bets

40340
40342
40344

Damien

Just thinking

Bet 40381 will end up stored at Wigan or Bolton.

Think First Manchester/pioneer should brace itself for Compensation payouts ££££
