:-)

That probably explains why I saw a group of B7s parked up at BN that we too far away to identify but didn't look like BN's i.e. they'd not been repainted and still had the larger fleet number. I think one was 66873 be don't quote me on that. Probably something to do with the 12/25 workings?

The "8" B9s that I saw minus branding except for the full rear advert were 37374/6/8/80

37429 has been fully "37" debranded but still in the old livery.

From what I worked out last night...there are ten B9TLs at Wigan. Two were used for the X34, and around six (could be wrong there, might be one more/less) of them were used on for the 32, leaving two spare. With the increased X34 frequency now, I'd imagine that two more B9TLs would be used on the X34, leaving none of them spare for other routes such as the 540 and the 600. However, all of them being allocated to those routes at the same time all the time? I can't really see that happening! :P
Following the reports of a few Bolton depot B9s being based in Oldham, I spotted a few of them all running on the 83 this morning. They were 37373, 37376/9 (8 branding still on the back), 37402, 37415 and 37431

Added to the previous post yes Buses seemed to be having problems today showing the correct destination and service numbers for the changes today and it wasn't just confined to Oldham Depot, Bury Depot were affected as well with none of their fleet that was out today being able to show the new 94 route, from what I saw some drivers were opting to show 93 with 94 on a piece of paper in the windscreen, I also heard that some drivers were still showing 138 upto Unsworth on journeys to Manchester then showing 93 from Unsworth onwards.

I'd love to know why no one has bothered to reprogram the destinations displays ready for today as it doesn't take that long to do, I know Stagecoach always manage to get their destinations uptodate for any timetable or route changes so I'd like to know why First weren't on the ball with the changes for today

Interesting if they did write 94 as it should have been the 92 that runs on Sundays.

Random to say the least!! Feel my OCD licking in!!! Has 37431 still got it's 37 branding???

Do we know the reason for the move, loans or long term etc????
No branding on 37431. Have spotted another 8 back-branded bus on the 83, which is 37378.

As for the X34, unless there's been more vehicle swapping going on, it would seem that Queens Road depot are running the xx42 journeys. Saw 66191 earlier and 37281 with the 17/18 Look ads on the 3.42 departure from Manchester.

37415 still had it's 36 branding on late last week so presuming it's been taken off now. Be interesting to know why the swaps/loans have taken place.

Just seen 66191 heading into town with the blind carefully set so it reads Manchester but hides "via NMGH"
Interesting stuff is going on in Wigan today with this 'new' 610 business - the 610 now seems to be 'interworked' or whatever, and there's loads of different vehicles on the routes, including Arrows (31928 earlier), B7RLEs (66921), B9TLs (37312, it appeared to replace 31928 at the depot) and Excels (I can't properly remember which one/s)! :P Also, 66927 is on the 621/8. Another thing that I've noticed in Wigan is that it seems like most, if not all of the LED destination display buses at Wigan no longer have scrolling displays any more. However, not all of the routes programmed into them are in the 'Oldham-style'. Smile
