There seemed to be a lot of confusion espically on the 409's inbound towards Ashton. Some were continuing to follow the diversion while others were going straight down Oldham Rd into Ashton.
419's are still running over Crowhill with 41's still only serving Dukinfield. Presumably it will be down to TFGM to decide if and when the 41 and 419 will revert back to normal. Although a lot of Crowhill residents seem to have the impression it will continue as it is now for good.
41/419s im sure will revert at end of month with the normal serv changes c28/7/14
as these 2 were changed in the timetable as well so will be due to revert then. As current setup is requiring 1 extra bus than before ie before 41*2 419*3 now 41*2 419*4 and pr is short on drivers as it is

Somebody did ask a question to TfGM's Twitter page, which was re-directed to First, who said that the 41/419 will continue on the diversionary routes.

Also on Twitter, First are stepping up the RivviRider campaign by sending staff on board to offer passengers the chance to enter a competition to win an iPad mini.

Noted 37435 today in Bolton, carrying Manchester depot stickers, working 527 Bolton - Halliwell service.

Are Stagecoach 168/169's still using the diversion or are they back on normal route?
168/9 + 409 should be back to normal route as both stagecoach and first were advised last week of reopening only reason 41/419 havent changed is they was changed on paper not just diverted so they are published as a timetable and bus stops between ashton and crowhill are timetabled/ marked on bus stops as 419 the services are due to change at end of month with the other area changes on 28/7

37433/4/5 went to Manchester Depot from pioneer temporarily and are now allocated to Bolton they are just a bit lazy at changing cared for stickers as 37433 still has pioneer cared for stickers on

Neither do I understand that all I can understand is that it's some pathetic way to try and compete with Arriva's Saphire service

So reviewed dosen't deffiantly mean that they will revert back to how they were then.
Apparently it's actually a 'chatty' Dukinfield driver who regularly works the 419s that's mentioned to passengers that he wouldn't be surprised if the 419 and 41 stay as they are now.
Out of interest (possibly one Dentionan could answer), given that an extra bus/driver has been used while the diversions have been in place has TFGM paid First any extra money to run these tendered services to the diverted routes, or are First providing the extra bus/driver for free?
