There was no sign of 34262 though! :O Has that one been withdrawn now?
Also, something is going on at Bryn in terms of Arrows. 30584 had its transmission 'fixed' not so long ago and now it's been withdrawn, and I noticed today that 31923 and 31946 appear to have had their transmissions 'fixed' too! :P
just had update from Wigan 34262 is still in service
seen on 350 today

Yeah I noticed this too, but I forgot to mention it! Wigan seems to be having some trouble with scanning cards though at the minute, I got on 66879 to Wigan today on the 600 and the driver was just telling people with the cards to just get on because the machine wasn't working properly lol! The woman in front of me did scan her card though, and the machine said 'Card Error' or something like that. :P

same here on 350 would not scan mine either
Stagecoach have been using theirs for a while now and theirs often don't work, or as is very often the case when a bus is late the driver will put his hand over the scanner and just wave passengers on, no doubt this will be the case for most First buses.

think it would be better if you just show pass etc to driver and he/she just presses what ever needs be
Showing the pass is better IMO as it is less open to fraud.

That's often been my thought when I watch people get on with their concessionary passes. 'How does the driver know it's really their card?'. Bus companies must trust the elderly ladies and gentlemen.
