According the Skyscraper forum, the service starts tomorrow (Monday), will be numbered 400 and apparently operates every 30 mins. Not sure what times it'll run though or who will operate it. First will obviously be one choice, given their presence in the town, alternatives would be Stotts, Swans Travel, Bluebird or others.

As an Oldhamer, I will have to have a look at some point this week to see if I can spot it and find more information.

Wonder if some muppet will ask if its going to ashton or bolton. Laugh

You can bet there will be one, you always get one WaveWaveWave
I'll be walking up to Mumps tomorrow since it only takes me 5 minutes, just to see what's going on. I live in Abbeyhills, at the top next to Alexandra Park. It's crap but it's not too bad for getting to town dead easy with Smile

Service runs every 30 mins between 9.40am and 4pm (not sure how that works though). No details on the operator either. Service funded by Oldham Council and TfGM.

Also, not sure how the service can run via King Street given it was closed off due to Metrolink works.

News on the Oldham Metroshuttle 400. First are not operating it. The service is being operated by Manchester Community Transport. Mercedes minibus being used too, so not the biggest. Leaflet available from Oldham TfGM Travelshop. I imagine online version available soon.

Of course I'm not but I havent seen it in the new livery myself or seen it reported by anyone else! Don't forget that at least another 4 would have been done last week, 3 at BN and 1 at WN (37425 was done at OM) so the list are never 100% accurate.
From this week 6 will be done according to Lea from OM:
3 at BN
2 at OM
1 at WN
so it won't be long before they are all done. He said that the Scania Benids at BY are going away to be sprayed at 2 per week.

Ok thank you,

I asked specifically about 37409 because its one of my favourite B9s, and its a while since, I have seen it. Let me know when you spot it, I hope its not wondered away from Bolton.

So Its going to start then, Bury's fleet of 18 bendis, to be repainted excellent, they will need to get going with it though, in readiness for the re launch of the 135. I have also been watching the posts of our mutual friend from OM but must have missed that one. Ypu can bet even when the bendis are re painted, and branded. They will still show up on the 471s. Brings me to my latest curious thing for knowing which Oldham B9s went to the olympics. Cant seem to find any posts on the forum. :-)
