As I said, it is just a thought, and since these Enviro400's in question are not exactly needed for what work they once did, it's simply a possibility. Overall it would be an upgrade, of course depending on how many there are, since the Volvo's are 55-07 plate and the Enviro's are 56-08 (effectively averaging newer) I know it probably won't happen but it's a thought :P

And have you never heard 'partner's in crime' used as a figure of speech? That's all it was! Wink

My list of Envrios, any updates would be most welcome.

Looking through the thread, I don't think this was ever quite finished off, so here goes:

Bolton 33657, 33673/7, 33691/3/5-7/9, 33700/4/5/7/9-17, 33719-22, 33724-37/9, 33740/2/3/9, 33753
Oldham 33656, 33663, 33668-72/4-6, 33678-90, 33692/4/8, 33701-3/6/8, 33723, 33738, 33741/4-8, 33750-2/4/5

The only one unaccounted for appears to be 33718 - anyone have an allocation for it?
Thanks for this list Dave. Whether or not 33718 is in service yet, this indicates that the Enviro400s are as good as all in service now. Ironically, I am now likely to be postponing a ride on one from November 24th to December 29th. I often see double-deckers on First's route 22 journeys now, and Volvo B7RLEs less than before.

I think since the Enviros have arrived at Bolton and Oldham depots, there has been a case of some routes moving up a step in terms of vehicles used. 22 has definitely become more of a B9TL/Enviro service instead of a B7RLE, 163s have been upgraded from Citaros and B7RLEs to more B9TLs. 348/350 also have gained B9TLs in place of Darts. B7RLEs were used on the 408 today replacing the older Darts that were used.
Quite surprised to see dart 40372 on the 415, which was given as withdrawn from Bolton lastmonth

Ive also noticed standard B9TLs on the 17/18 and noticeable less of them hybrids on them. And the 471 too run full D/D now with the extra B9's from BN
