There will be 8 buses per hour between Oldham and Manchester as planned but between Oldham and Sholver, buses will run every 10 mins. 2 buses per hour will run Oldham-Manchester only.
What a stupid move! That will mean there will have to be some large layover times in Oldham on some journeys, which is going to prove to be unpopular with passengers.
Thinking the same thing. Was trying to work out how long waiting time buses will get from the Traveline website. It seems that two buses an hour will have no waiting time, two per hour have about 3 mins waiting time and 2 per hour have 5 mins. The two buses that terminate at/start from Oldham have about 10 mins.
The new 180/184 timetable has also had its times re-adjusted to give it some waiting time at Oldham bus station too (plus in Uppermill on the 184 Huddersfield journeys). However, it has kept the 8 buses per hour to/from Grotton and 4 per hour to/from Saddleworth.
Obviously, First are giving the 83 and 180/184 waiting time in Oldham to help with reliability. May help if the service runs late from Sholver/Saddleworth into town or from Manchester, which given current form, will be needed.
Saw 69521 & 3 earlier which have been "582" branded however 69521 was on a 501 and 69523 was on a 562! Another was parked up in the depot. Also, these still havent had the flying f logo put on!!!!
69207/9 have both lost the 100 route branding and re-painted into the new livery. 69207 was on the 81 earlier and 69209 was on the 182.

Thank you for the list of Enviro400 allocations on Wednesday WWH44L. I wonder whether these will lead to Oldham and Bolton losing all Volvo B9TLs?
For anyone who's interested apparantly the furthest an Oldham Depot vehicle ventures now is Hale Barnes in the morning and in the afternoon with the 766 Stockport-St Ambrose College and return service apparantly the service is booked to be a PTE Decker (Volvo Olympian) which will probably mean one of the T---KLFs being used
It sounds like two Solo's have left Oldham this weekend for the Wirral, 40309 and 40310.

just looked on allocations its not a olympian its actually going to be a ysb (Y23 service on contact no 766)
Are you sure its going to be a Yellow Schoolbus only according to TfGM School Services in Trafford area timetables its listed as minimum capacity 85, which surely rules a Yellow Schoolbus out unless I'm wrong, having never looked round one of these Versa's at Oldham yet I'm not to sure on what capacity is
Was in oldham and noticed a few of the T-KLFs have round illuminous stickers next to the fleetnumbers and stars in the front window, not seen that since the atlanteans were used when oldham had a separating unit (MS).
