(06/08/2012 09:52)Damien Wrote: [ -> ]Well some of Oldhams current B7s have been linked with a move to First pioneer, asides from that. The depots that are not the financial force of lets say Bolton and Oldham Depots within the first group. Still have there lucrative routes like Bury for one. Who we already know are to receive 7 B9s from Oldham after the Olympics to be used on the re launched 471, one of Bury's two most lucrative routes, the other being the 135 of course. Then you have Wigan and its extremely old fleet, questionable whether first want to upgrade this fleet, but they still need buses. Not sure on QueensRoad, but then. The obvious question will mean surely it's bye bye to any remaining preg vehicle IE darts arrows etc etc, maybe even the r regs as well. Ok sme are taxed to next year, but I don't see that as enough of a reason not to withdraw. So naturally my overall thought is I'd hope they would re deploy around Manchester, where they are needed. At the same time having a clear outWave

damien all mic knows is what i know and that is i was told the 348/350 (hey farm section) were to get 10 07or 57 plate deckers possibly via oldham this was supposed to have happened b4 the olympics but it is now supposed to be when the enivros or b9`s hit home this should now occur in september with the schools timetable kicks back in. and i doubt that the t klf`s will come here either

it could be either B7s from west yorkshire i did get told 07 regs so it could also be the B9s from Queens Rd via Oldham 37279 to 87/90 what is happening with the Hey farm to Oldham section of the 350 no idea as yet

This may sound literally stupid, but here is the thing, a contact reports big changes happening at Bury Depot in September, You get told 07 regs instead of just thinking Queens Road 07s what are the odds on shiffting all of Bury's 07 reg/57 and replacing them with re deployed B9s ex BN/OM, now yes it may sound highly unlikely, but I just wanted to throw it into the discussion.
As far as my past thoughts and experiences in Firstgroup go, the age of the B9TL's in Manchester doesn't matter, the 07's are on par with the 09's. Neither are the better batch, so there's also the possibility Oldham just shift some of theirs down there. Smile
Currently on 66926 working the 0700 X34 from Leigh

Well a Bury Driver contact says and has said more or less the same since mics original post, that most of the changes, will happen in September, now as that's when Bury and Bolton are now supposedly relaunching there key routes

Those routes have already been launched, they just aren't branding them until after the olympics. Smile

I know that, but First bus corporate, use big words like re launch all the time
37299 was out today in new livery seen here in Bolton http://www.flickr.com/photos/jongraham89...hotostream

yes they did but this is when they had a bigger yard which now stores rear end of lorrys most of the B10Bs moved to Rochdale for 400 but 2 531/537 remained at Dukinfield for the x1 service they now only have the depot yard

Had the lovely Bury Depot Citaro 60257 today, very smooth ride,
Followed by 64029, also on the 510.

Then 69162 on the 582 down to Leigh

And returned on the extremely freshly painted 37415, so fresh you could smell the paint, and I mean smell it.
