QS B7RLE 69196 on the 533 in Bolton this morning, presuming a loan.
Noticed a couple of Tameside B9s heading up and down Ashton Road between Ashton and Oldham this afternoon (between 1pm and 3pm). Not sure if it was to do with the 350 or something unrelated though.

That is what is allocated to it.
I don't think they do want to keep it, don't forget it is just an emergency tender.
Just to clear some up some confusion, just because a service is tendered doesn't necessarily mean that the vehicle/s used have to be low-floor as there are various different tenders issued in Greater Manchester area, for example the 188 Ryder Brow-Manchester Piccadilly is a tendered service and this always has a Plaxton Vario on it daily even though the operator that operates it has plenty of Plaxton SLF Darts in the fleet.
Also there's the ruling that vehicles over a certain age can't be used on tenders and this might be the case with 31 and with 31 only being a short term emergency tender then the Olympians in question are allowed to be used.
To be honest I don't think TfGM would have awarded the emergency tender to First if they weren't happy with what they are going to use on the service
i could be wrong but am sure it said something about an all singing all dancing bus on the back of the timetable, could be wrong like but am sure i seen it
right thanks for that, was just shocked to see that on a tender
