As for Bury Depot taking their time coming out to the bus all I can say to this is that I think its the same at any other depot in that there's less fitters/engineering staff on after a certain time at night and its been like this for years

It's 7pm the 471 goes hourly from Bolton to Rochdale, last one leaves 11pm from Bolton Moor Lane as far as Heywood. I would imagine what you say, you dont see many fitters at all at night, so on reflection I can't remember ever seeing any. Except the odd time they seem to turn out at Bolton moor lane, usually to change defect ticket machines, or mess with wipers.

66930 broke down on Bury Road just as it got through Breightmet (depending on how familiar you are with this route, as bad as it was and as sorry as I felt for the other passengers. It was only a 10 min walk home for me :-)
read on a blog page Oldham 100 from a driver at Oldham that all the Volvo double decks NC bodied ones might be going when the new buses and the double deck B7s come how true this is we will have to wait and see

And Oldham's 37553 is also in London on its summer holiday with 37556, on loan to First Games Transport.

There is nothing wrong with 31920. It was perfectly fine the past three times that I went on it!

Well Thomas, I Have been on 31920 three times in the last week, last wednesday 31920 was doing a 572 and an engineer had to be called to it, as it wouldnt go into gear in the bus station, a day later. I had it again, and it kept stalling at the lights on my 571. And today, it was obviously in difficulties going ever so slow, and holding up the traffic behind it for quite some way. Sister bus 31919 was broken Down in Bury on Monday morning rush hour. So nothing wrong with it, i beg to differ Wave

Hi John,

Thank you for clarifying, yes I heard that the 7 B9s from OM, Would return then move to Bury, there just seems to be very little information on which B9S other than 37553/6

Regards

Damien
Looks like 37431 has come back to Bolton depot from its brief visit to the 83s in Oldham, as I've just boarded it on the 37 in Farnworth.

37 also has a couple of Darts on the route too, think it was 40405 and 40353
