Seeing as BNs repaints are well on the way, did the remaining OMs get repainted?

Seems like there has been a bit of a clear out of withdrawn stock in the top car park at BN.

Arrow 31950 and Olympian 34061 have gone as have the remaining bendis.

Only three Arrows left at the top which I think are 31927, 31944, 39154. 31915 and 31940 are still in the bottom corner.

dont you mean 31954? Are the 1s left still in a state like these when i photoed in April 2012 or have tehy had more parts taken?

"Storage" i believe it is as all the leeds B10LAs as well as most of Boltons have been sent to Cherry Row which seems to be a dumping ground for storage/scrap buses for WY. Why Boltons have been sent here is a new 1 for me with rumours on other forums saying possibly coming out to service to cover olympic buses going to London. But i tend not to belive rumours unless theres proof to back it up.

31952 back home at Oldham seen on its 389 duty leaving Ashton at 17.05

Oldham Council are launching a campaign for 'fairer deal' for local residents (which as an Oldhamer would include me) with regards to bus fares, as they say Oldhamers have to pay between 13% and 50% more on fares than other areas in Greater Manchester, mainly because First operate the majority of bus services in the area.

Oldham Council leader Jim McMahon said: "First Bus has a near monopoly on bus services in our borough and the wider north Manchester area. That wouldn't necessarily be a problem if the fares were comparative, but the figures we have do not appear to suggest this is the case. We believe people in Oldham are paying too much for their bus fares."

Oldham Council are now planning to lobby TfGM on the issue.

First Manchester responded by saying: "We have a standard fare structure across our whole Greater Manchester network and so our customers in Oldham pay the same as customers across the region. We are happy to discuss this matter with Oldham Council and will look at ways we can work in partnership with them."
