When Maytree ran these routes, they faced a lot of abuse for bad time keeping, and the issue was the kearsley spur mostly, and the tight timings in and out of Bolton and Bury repectivley. Now though, both routes haven't been running to time for the last two weeks, drivers going the wrong way, and these are drivers that operate this route on a daily basis. So much so that today, at Bury a TFGM offical was talking to us, and saying sorry for the issues with the late running, so much so that we over heard a conversation, with the Bury inspector, being told in no un certain terms get on the phone to Bolton Depot and find out what is going on. He handed out complaint forms to us all, and every passenger took one. Not that I'am stupid enough to believe it will do any good. It does seem though that timings is not enough of an exscuse anymore as these routes never run to time, no matter what time of day it is.

I have to smile at least TFGM are trying to show us they are doing something about under performing services that they pay for.

Correction, we are paying for these services. TFGM is using tax payers purse to pay First to run these attempts of a service.

What really annoys me is that TFGM clearly know there is a problem with these services they are paying First to operate so why not do something practical instead of just handing out comment forms. I know for a fact that once completed and handed back to TFGM, they simply forward them to First.

Yes i meant we not they, and I know myself what they do with complaint forms not correction forms, First bus just ignore complaints forms

One thing though they shouldn't be forwarding anything to first if as you say. They pay first to operate this service using there dft funded buses. Then really they are passing the buck to first, and deflecting the hassle with these routes from themselves. As I said, I have used these routes, daily both with maytree and now first and transport for manchester had many issues with maytree also, and of course then. tfgm were paying maytree to run it. In this situation, you have Bolton Depot rostering drivers onto these routes, who don't know where they are bloody going all in all. First Bolton and tfgm bloody disgraceful

RANT OVER:P

RE: First Manchester
With the X34 increase to every 30 minutes are we expecting any more B9's to be transferred over to WN? Also does anybody know which depot's will be operating the revised 12/25/26 routes?

Second full repaint for this beast as this 37301 and 37390 were the only ones to get a full Barbie repaint.

since the B5s at Queens rd appeared

Bury B9s are 37291 to 300/2/91/92/93

Apologies if this is mentioned later in the thread but 37302 is also at Bury for the 471. saw it last Tuesday in Bury.

RE: First Manchester
Can someone let me know the full allocation of the new Versa schoolbuses? Is the batch 49201 to 49224 or is there a 49225 also?

Many thanks in advance.
