As the funding is to make their fleet 100% electric, do we know which vehicles might be converted and which might be replaced?
I'm presuming they won't want to withdraw the MMCs?
Further service reductions taking place from today:
https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/se...ember-2021
Some huge gaps in service now, like 2-hour gaps in what used to be core services, like 14 and 25.
Other services are also suffering, with things like a 4-hour gap in outbound service 8 between 08:53 and 12:51, and only one inbound service 7 on weekdays now, at 15:28.
That's of course if these timetables are stuck to, without further service reductions on the day.
Rather unbalanced service between 16 and 16A too.

The the operations department have probably tried to cover the busy parts of the day on most routes , Warrington Own Buses arent the only operator to struggle for drivers.
Hopefully its just on a Temporary Basis .

In defence for the 14, there is the 15 service which compliments it so if you don't mind going the other way around the loop, there is actually only an hour gap in the service. The 25 has other buses I guess for sections but it's not the best for the 25 to be cut given
The 16/16A is a bit of a mess. Surely it'd be so much simpler to cut it back to every 15 or 20 minutes rather than the random, roll a dice, times which are in place.
I notice that they haven't touched the weekday 19/28 Leigh-Warrington services this time round, thought they might have done to match the current reduced Saturday services on the routes.
Reports in the local press that minimum of 20 busses been driving around with out of date mot, believe figure is upto 38 vehicles...if found guilty I would assume a very heavy fine and a date with the tc?

Found it now. However it suggests it’s the reason 40 services were dropped earlier today by WOB.
The story suggests replacement buses have been sourced while they sort MOT’s out but by the sounds of it there’s so drivers to drive them.
Apparently according to social media MPTravel have loaned Warringtons Own some vehicles in the mean time while they sort their problems out.
