A loan for something relating to Pride perhaps?

It's doing Creamfields Shuttles.

WOB doesn't have the drivers for it so it has been contracted out to Hiltons and Link Network. (Maybe some others).
Some fair cuts coming to the WOB network as they struggle to cover work. Shame to see the 62 being shafted again. Are they taking tips from Arriva on how to kill off routes? No wonder hardly anyone with a choice doesn't use the 62 anymore. Halton 62s used to do really well.

Anyway, back to it.
CAT 6 has lost some trips.
20/21 down from every 10 to every 12 minutes.
32 is now dropped from every 15 mins to every 30 minutes. Huge drop.
62 has had Saturdays removed completely as well as a reduction in peak time trips.

Some new and reduced timetables on other routes. It'd be too time consuming to post each thing individually.

They are very short on drivers at the moment, a few weeks ago they dropped 47 trips in one day! A friend has been offered agency work here, which may provide a short-term solution to the driver shortage (assuming they can get agency staff!).

It's the same with arriva and stagecoach..shortage everywhere

I've heard of a number significantly higher than that for some days so there is a huge shortage.

Everywhere is suffering driver shortages, seems WOB has it worse than some other firms though based off this drop.

WOB isn’t on its own the company I work for in Manchester is massively short and are dropping loads of mileage at the moment.
Stagecoach Manchester recently used agency drivers to fulfil Metrolink replacement contracts - the first time I’ve known stagecoach even entertain agency drivers!
It’s bad at the moment and unless changes are made I can see it getting a lot worse.

Heard on the radio - road haulage companies are effectively "pirating" bus drivers by offering big wage rises , because they are short of HGV drivers. Unfortunately, I don't think that many bus companies can match those wage increases.
There are a few things which don't seem to make sense with the new timetables, linked here:
https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/se...ember-2021

Particularly the 11/12 seem to be missing Monday-Friday - or does a 1 really arrive at Westy at 07 past the hour and sit there until 19 past the hour to do a 2 back to town? On the timetable, it says 11/12 go via Farrell Street, but the "Saturday only" service shown doesn't seem to at least. These routes have been changed so much that it's hard to know what's going on on different days of the week.
With the 20/21 as well, the timetables say that vehicles stick on the routes, going round and round all day, so you don't have to switch vehicle at the Interchange if you want to go to anywhere on the route. Surely that is massively inefficient, as vehicles and drivers would often either get no time between trips at all meaning inevitable problems or be sat around for ages, particularly on Saturdays, and especially on Sundays.
