Having looked what's happening at the moment in the news not only Manchester are going down the franchise route but liverpool and city region also..warrington buses are very well placed for expansion should the franchises happen as they are in the middle ..could be interesting times ahead

All operators need to be careful. Over-expansion has proved to be a route to doom for rather a lot. Resources can get stretched too far, reliability starts to suffer, etc.
The new application lodged on the traffic commissioners website for warrington buses is 125 vehicles..I never knew they could fit soo many into wilderspool depot..yet there is a new depot being built something I read a while ago ..when it's to be completed and wilderspool is vacated not known

Can anyone help regarding the vehicles being used on the 31?
Much appreciated.

I think the last few days we have been using the blue/silver Enviro 200’s.

Ah that's great to know, thanks - so I guess that the 31 won't actually run off / onto the Penketh High run then, as I'm sure a bigger vehicle would be required for that.
Do you know what the 31 does interwork with?
Much appreciated.
Are Warrington getting all 7 of the ex Lancashire United Eclipse 2s?
Apogies if its old news but 301 in full new livery.
.
F19HOW has Warrington legal lettering, but no sign of a fleetnumber.
Seems there's been a lot of complaints about the reliability of the CAT9 and the excuse which has been given is the roadworks which have been taking place near John Deanes college:

Although, that doesn't explain the problem with the 16:20, 16:30 and 16:40 Cheshire CAT departures from Warrington Interchange where the vehicles for both the 16:30 CAT6 and 16:40 CAT5A can both arrive before the vehicle for the 16:20 CAT9 (all of which arrive on a different service to the one they go out as.) Last Thursday the 16:20 CAT9 and 16:40 CAT5A were running one behind the other out of Warrington with the CAT5A reaching Stockton Heath first.
