I'm not sure when it was sold, must have been fairly recent. Not sure whether the remaining darts have been sold or scrapped..

I think most have been sold, the only ones that come to mind as being scrapped is 27 because of fire damage and 7 because of accident damage. I may have got the fleet numbers wrong, but if I remember rightly they should be right. I have seen a fair few active in the last month as well tbh.
The only Darts that are running in service are the later 2002 models with the 4 cylinder cummins engine, same that us used in the cadets. The Y plate Darts has the much better 6 cylinder engine but none of these are in service now. I think fleet number 26 is being used for route training and that's a Y plate..

Yes, apparently there is an Android version!
(Source: a tweet from NW on 5th August)
Yes i have seen 26 being used a few times for driver training, the later darts still have a lot of life left in them. I did love the Y reg darts they were strong busses.
Further changes have come through on VOSA for route 5 from 22nd September!
(Thanks to St Helens Rider on the VOSA thread).
Urrrrrrgg I wish people whould leave the 5 alone! Fed up of changes on this what's worse about this is that I am a very regular user on this service and I hate change especially to much bloody change.
New timetables are available at the Interchange.
It seems that -- ironically enough -- the first few 5's on Saturday mornings and the last few on Saturday afternoons will terminate at Warburton and Saturday daytime 5's will terminate at Altrincham.
The reverse of the MF timetable!
There will be quite a few dead runnings on the 5 soon.
It's a bit of a mystery to me how the 22 and 28 will fit in with the new timetables, but we'll see.
