I think that's a good move from Fairbrothers - it's unfortunate that Network Warrington's half-hourly Sankey services (the 14 and 15) currently both depart Warrington within one minute of each other.

Iv got a feeling this may do the old Network Warrington 15 route I.e. down St Mary’s Rd onto Meeting Lane to Lingley Green wtc

This would definitely stand to sense, as Warrington's 15A does this route too.
Less sure about the 15X, but bearing in mind that there has been no variation pencilled in for the 16H in June, I would say that the 15's will probably be interworking with the 16H, meaning that 2 vehicles might spend 30 minutes on the 16H then 1.5 hours on the Sankeys.
This could involve one 15A (taking around 40 minutes) and one quicker run on a 15X, say operating straight down Sankey Way (taking just over 30 minutes), with the remaining time going on layover.
(e.g. using my usual notation, something like 16H[08-21] 16H[25-38] 15X[43-16] 15A[21-03])
The first CAT has entered service CH04CAT left on the 0940 CAT5a from Warrington to Altrincham this morning, where I caught up with it, quite awesomely as the via points change on the front a cat slowly climbs up the display!

Excellent photos. I spoke to the driver before it left Warrington, warned him not to scrape or dent it lol
Looks like there's a second driver on board.

There was, one was showing the other how to use and operate the bus
Nice new booklet from Warrington for the new Cheshire Cat services:

The detailed route maps are very welcome, though there are some things which to my mind aren't quite right, particularly the 7 and 8 being shown as circular (7 clockwise and 8 anticlockwise) for some reason and the route numbers shown on the maps being a little over-simplistic e.g. not all Cat 5's call at Warburton, the 9B isn't shown on route maps etc.
