Have you got any proof of this? I work at the depot and no one for sure knows whats goibg on regarding the new buses
Rock Ferry is back of the list, Preston to receive there new deckers first and rockferry around November, nothing is set in stone yet
The ones for X2 will have tables and wood floors upstairs and no hand poles.
Preston will arrive first then Rock Ferry but ALL by November
Also the night buses to Chester is apparently disappointing patronage and will probably be cut after Xmas, same with the 86 one

Thats because there standalone services and not part of a network. I think once these night buses have gone you will probably only have the christmas night bus services.
Its another case of use them or lose them.
Someone i know uses the 86 Night Bus often and says it does well

Patronage has declined considerably since christmas on it. It might survive as just a weekend service in January but no more 24/7 are to be introduced anywhere else.
The X8 is also to become Gold in the near future Stagecoach want Gold on all Cross Rivers
The most well used part of the night bus 1 from what I've seen is beteeen Liverpool and Birkenhead, quite often more than 20 people on it when I've used it.
