I can confirm that the Helsby-Hooton 150 is this weekend (Tomorrow).
There is an ALX400 inside Chester depot - PX04 DPF. It's branded Coastliner, but destination is 'Castell Alun' which would suggest it's here for keeps?

Presume it was hiding behind the depot doors today, couldn't see it......it's 18152 by the way.
Trident 18152 seen at the back of the depot this morning, could only get a pic showing the back, posted this on my flickr account (Link below)
Leyland Olympian D158 FYM is currently in Rock Ferry, was noted having sightseeing branding removed off the rear today. Perhaps for use on the 15 this weekend?

Yesterday I was passed Rock Ferry Depot they have two Leyland Olympians open topper, one full open top and one part open top, D158FYM and other not know what reg is. Time about 3.30pm.
Not confirmed, but it is looking more likely that 18149-18153 will transfer to Chester & Wirral from Preston, for Rock Ferry. This is due to school contract losses at Chorley meaning they now don't need all 8 as planned. Chester should still be due 17036 from Devon to replace 16197, though I believe some sort of mechanical issue with 16197 (may be wrong) means they have 18152 on short term loan until 17036 arrives.
