Yes deffo to be nice with coach seats. Everytime when on X8 use bus seat not coach seat need to be for a change. Given people more comfy on coach seats. They are 59 plate not too bad.
The X8 is meant is meant be going gold soon so who knows what the plans could be
37440-37444 to Plymouth and 19569-19572 moving up here to Merseyside & South Lancs, depot to be advised, they're currently allocated to Torquay, and were confined to the Exeter P&R (although 19572 has always been in corporate and did get out further a bit more....) until '65' plate E400MMC's displaced them.

Think there's a bit of confusion here.....37440-37444 Chester to Plymouth, 19569-19572 Torquay to Merseyside & South Lancs (unknown depot).

With the MMCs heading to Plymouth, what's replacing them at Chester? with losing the 5 vehicles its surely going to put a strain on chester due to the extra routes they have recently picked up? could we about to see the return of the Enviro 200s?

I would rather see some Dennis Dart's but they are a bit elderly now.
With the gold on the 471/2 that should free up 4 Enviro400s + these 3 makes the PVR for X8... Possibly this could be the case. MMCs are just to show off during the strikes. Frees up Enviro 300s for the 41/42/38 giving up the last few enviro 200s for Chester??? Lots of messing but possible?
Think birkenhead will keep there own Enviro400s to replace tridents on schools

Just read your post again, yes it's more clear now. So confusion it was. Thanks.
I think that Golds are being replaced on their original routes around every 7 years, we shall see if next year's orders include buses for Witney depot (S1/S2/S7 vehicles are -59 and -10 plates, with one or two -14 plates hanging around).
