X266 USH is Chester and Rock Ferrys and X271 USH is used at Gilmoss
Olympian 14166 has had its floor painted, seats retrimmed into Stagecoach moquette, a handrails painted orange and has had the blue walls in the cab area repainted. To those who have seen the bus since its repaint, or any photos of it will have noticed the top of the grille panel under the windscreen was painted dark blue which looked daft and patchy, it's now been repainted white to match the rest. It is expected to be on the 15 this weekend.
Will it just be a normal double decker that deputises in the event that the open top is not available or subject to inclement weather.
What funding does Merseytravel get for this service 15.

It was an Enviro 400 in bad weather last year and indeed on a few of the hottest days due to vehicle breakdown.
The service is funded by the Department for Transport and Merseytravel.
In times of money saving by all government departments im surprised that there is money for this service at all .
Does it really convey that many passengers ?
I believe the idea behind the 15 is to help attract visitors to New Brighton following its regeneration. The idea of something free is quite unusual these days, and I suppose it's ideal for a family day out! There where some good loadings last year iirc
It's a shame it didn't stop at the Train Station en route.
