Hi GKA472L (Barry), I've spotted that your photo at Gillmoss Depot, I wish to know and were there anyway, So I've seen few First Group vehicles still there also I can see Olympians Alexander Royale there, so I ask you have any ex-Chester Dennis Darts So far I knew V368 and 369KLG still at Gillmoss but up to now not know and V371/2/3/4KLG already gone. Hope the Helps.
A lot more pics to be uploaded but the only ex First stock at GM were the olympians, 3 scani/Wright and a couple of Solo's......no ex First Darts there

Thanks for reply, Did you know where is ex-Chester/First Darts V368 and 369KLG gone to who??? I hope to hear from anyone who know where is.
The darts went ages ago, presumably to one of the Barnsley dealers.

Thanks to Mbonwick information about ex-Chester Darts, I'm still trace/looking for V368 and 369KLG to new owner. V372 and 373KLG gone to new owner via Barnsley dealers but V371KLG not know where is and possibly scrapped!!!

I believe the original plan was to have all of them painted plain white so that they could be sold after their service days where up, however they seemed to give up on the idea of full repaints after only 2 where done (of course one of them was accidentally painted in the full livery too) and instead just covered up the first bits! Some of them still have the First fleetnumbers on the side next to the fuel fill too. I believe the 2 ex Chester Palatine Volvo Olympians are painted in the same fashion.
Passengers probably wouldnt notice any different, they'll believe the L94UBs are brand new buses now that theyre painted!
16548 has moved north to Carlisle, its unclear why at the moment.
The Royales were originally to receive a full repaint into plain white, but after the budget was blown on giving 16235 a full repaint into swoops, a cheaper solution had to be found.
