From what ive seen over the last few days the 38 consists of standard single deckers and gold double deckers , there is more chance of seeing a gold vehicle on the 41.
Any service running along New Chester Road was shot to pieces by three sets of work , at the top of the Bypass (port sunlight end ) , New Ferry Village and Rock Lane West junction , with a further lane closure at the other end of the bypass for the 1 / X1

Double deckers are required for the school runs we operate e.g 2 to Runcorn for Helsby High School and the 5 service to Mold which serves 3 high schools, one in Buckley and the other two in Mold.
10831 is out on the 471/472 today

Given this, would I be right in thinking that deckers on Ellesmere Port locals will be a common fixture rather than a temporary blip, as I am led to believe that they sometimes interwork with the 5 to Mold?
Interesting that there has also been a Solo on the 2 to Chester recently.

The 2,5,6 and 7 all interwork on a 12 bus cycle to minimise shuttle costs going to/fron e Port for reliefs. Deckers on locals here to stay as will Solos on the odd 2 workings.

This means that if there is a major delay on one of the routes then the service can fall over rather rapidly , especially when some of those buses work through the hell hole for buses cheshire oaks , no other place in the area produces so many headaches for stagecoach than that place .
Double decker on the Shopper Hopper in Chester too today!!

That's really great from an enthusiast's point of view!
I've had a look at the timings and can you or anyone else confirm or amend the following which would work as a 12-bus cycle on the 2/5/6/7:
6[40-13] 6[20-53] 7[56-24] 7[26-54] 6[00-33] 2in[40-13] 2(Runcorn)[20-33] 2out[40-14] 5[22-06] 2in[20-53] 2out[00-34]
Here, 6[00-33] 2in[40-13] means a 6 departing Ellesmere Port at 00 past the hour and arriving back in Ellesmere Port at 33 past the hour, then going onto a 2 departing Ellesmere Port at 40 past the hour and arriving in Chester at 13 past the hour, for example.
Well that would be an extremely unusual photo opportunity, a Chester Park & Ride on the 22 at the moment in West Kirby......
There's no need to post unusual sightings when out & about anymore, just have look at bustimes.org site instead
