1. Stay on the same route and just see if the protests die down
2. Reroute back on to Mill Lane
3. Reroute from Chester Zoo , via Mostyn Road and Liverpool Road
Would it be naive to assume that the (car owning) residents have gone through proper channels so far?
eg. Writing to Stagecoach to explain their objections to the route, and that their "protest" is not actually causing a full obstruction to either buses completing their registered route - or indeed to emergency vehicles.
Also, is it just coincidence that some of the Gold's from Kettering (incl. 15750) are now going to Folkstone either on loan or permanently? (credit SKM)

According to SKM 15750 is not for this fleet but for Cumbria and North Lancashire after is loan from Stagecoach South East

I keep forgetting Preston comes under C&NL, although no details have otherwise been given about the pair due to go there. Presumably, it is/was 15750/1 although the item on SKM does infer more than two going to Kent.

Preston comes under MCSL not C&NL!

Back to Mill Lane would be very negative, the 1 is very packed at certain times and needs
Deckers on the route,so this is a no no
It’s not as if the residents of Upton Lane are unfamiliar with buses running up & down either. Crosville had the C6 & C36 which lasted into de-reg days. Latterly the services have been less frequent, but unless the residents go through the proper channels, I suspect this will all end in tears (and possibly a few trashed wing mirrors).
Its not up to the Residents what goes up or down their road anyway! So long as the road is suitable for Buses then the Residents dont have a leg to stand on
The residents can protest against it and if they kick up enough stink with the council things can change. Unfortunately though you can't please everybody as some people will like the buses going where they go and others won't.
Until the service 1 was rerouted up and down Upton Lane what was the regular service like on this road .
Was Upton Lane introduced as a health safety reason to prevent an accidental deroofing at Bache Station , because if it was a precursor to double deckers they are taking a long time introducing them.
