One of the MAN/Enviro300's is in the yard at Rock Ferry this morning, looks to be 24175, plus 21249 sighted heading up Scotland Road in the direction of Gillmoss presumably.
There is certaintly a difference between First and Stagecoach in there perception of the Wirral .
Stagecoach can see things that First couldn't or wouldn't touch with a barge pole .
First never invested really if your being honest they was just going through the motions , Stagecoach come and there was immediate investment in vehicles , probably the driving staff also felt happier for the first time in years as well , fearing that First was going to close them down by death of a thousand cuts.

24137 also there this afternoon, been told there's 4 on loan.

I hear that Volvos 21249, 21250, 21251 and possibly another are going on loan to GM with the same equivalent of MANs in return to RF to conduct yet another fuel consumption trial before anything is set in stone regarding what they plan to do with the MANs - conversion to Cummins or transfer to Rock Ferry.
